Sous Chef
We require a Sous Chef who is hard working to ensure a consistent high standard of performance which demonstrates good teamwork, effective communication, consistent positive results and continuous improvement. You should be dynamic and will work closely with the Head Chef but also be able to run the kitchen in their absence.
As the Sous Chef you should have:
- Previous experience within a quality fresh food environment.
- The ability to provide the junior members of the kitchen team with support in training and development so that the service and product delivery is consistent.
- A passion for producing dishes to an excellent standard.
- A courteous, polite and "can do" attitude when greeting customers in public areas.
If you are a talented Chef with a genuine passion for food and looking for the next opportunity, this could be the ideal role. Previous experience within a rosette establishment is preferable.

The hotel has two dining areas, ‘BaBar’ has a bistro feel, serving excellent local produce in a simple and classic manner, while our restaurant Christoph’s, offer an elegant fine dining alternative. We also provide a service for busy, corporate functions and weddings.
Chef de Partie
We require a Chef de Partie who is hard working and enthusiastic to join the team. This role will be under the general direction of the Sous Chef, Head Chef and Food and Beverage Manager.
As the Chef de Partie you should have:
- Previous experience of managing the preparation, presentation and cooking of meals
- A flexible and willing attitude
- Preferably experience of cooking at rosette level
- A knowledge of health and hygiene standards
- Experience working with fresh produce
This is an excellent opportunity for the right individuals wishing to pursue and further their career as a chef. Although experience in a similar role is preferred it is not essential.
Seasonal Front of House Assistants
Ideally candidates would have some experience, however this is not essential, and a passion for the food and beverage industry. You should have a high level of customer service, high standards of personal presentation and an ability to work under pressure and as part of a team. You must be highly motivated and have good communication skills to provide an excellent service. This role will involve working evenings and weekends.
