‘BaBar’ has a bistro feel, serving excellent local produce in a simple and classic manner.

You can even choose to dine al fresco in our enclosed garden (perhaps with a cold glass of Louis Roederer champagne in your hand - weather permitting!) whilst you mull over what to eat, or get dressed up and sip a Singapore Sling in our intimate cocktail lounge.

Our ethos continues behind the bar, where you will find well conditioned ales from local breweries, alongside more common tipples.

Vicar’s Game Pork, Stilton & Port sausages served with creamed mash, seasonal veg and an Apple & red wine sauce

Sizzling Fajita Skillet – fill your own Tortillas with your choice of filling...  Spiced Chicken supreme... Beef Steak... Roasted veg and Halloumi (served with sweet peppers, onions, sour cream, salsa, guacamole)

Honey glazed Duck breast, Thyme potato fondant, Celeriac puree & Chambord sauce

21 day aged Vicar’s Game Sirloin steak served with grilled mushrooms, balsamic roasted tomatoes Watercress & fries (Add a sauce - Green peppercorn, Creamy wholegrain Mustard or Red wine jus)
