Bar & Restaurant
The Elephant at Pangbourne has two dining areas. ‘BaBar’ has a bistro feel, serving excellent local produce in a simple and classic manner, while our restaurant, Christoph’s, offers an elegant fine dining alternative.
You can even choose to dine al fresco in our enclosed garden (perhaps with a cold glass of Louis Roederer champagne in your hand - weather permitting!) whilst you mull over what to eat, or get dressed up and sip a Singapore Sling in our intimate cocktail lounge.
Our ethos continues behind the bar, where you will find well conditioned ales from local breweries, alongside more common tipples.

A La Carte Menu
Sunday - Thursday 7 - 9pm
Friday & Saturday 7 - 9.30pm
* At lunch time you can choose whether you want to have more formal service in the restaurant or more relaxed ‘order at the bar’ service in the bar. But the menus are the same.
